There has been a Beach Mission in Sutton on Sea since 1886, first run by CSSM (Children's Special Service Mission) and now by Scripture Union.
Our aim is to bring the gospel of Jesus to people in Sutton, in fun and relevant ways for people of all ages whether they regularly attend church or not.
During the fortnight, we provide a wide range of activities for children, young people and adults to explore the Bible, respond to Jesus and grow in faith.
These include games on the beach, holiday clubs around the town, volleyball, participation in local church services and much more!
Sutton on Sea's SU Beach Mission is run by a team of dedicated volunteers who are all committed Christians and work very hard to provide two weeks of fun and inclusive activities for people of all ages.
